ABOUT US

Founded by Alexandra Larouche, a 24-year-old woman, passionate about animals, who lives in Quebec.

"I started researching dogs more and more in 2022, with a view to eventually adopting one. Having only had cats growing up, adopting a dog was a huge decision for me. My So my goal was to find a breed that suited (on paper) the most to my lifestyle. When I heard about Japanese spitz, I understood that it was the perfect breed for me. Ultimately, best decision. my life! I am so grateful to have taken the step and adopted Teddy, the most adorable dog in the world.

Teddy is a one-year-old puppy, born in Quebec. A happy puppy at any time of the day, always ready to play and go on an adventure. Very stubborn, he sometimes needs a lot of repetition before understanding an instruction. This little one is extremely loyal and adapts to any type of environment he finds himself in. When it comes to his food and toys, he has very particular tastes. You can't surprise him with anything, he has his own preferences.

Being a design lover, when I got confirmation that I was expecting my very first puppy, it was only natural for me to go on a hunt for the cutest items on the market. I waited for Teddy for several months so I had A LOT of time to compare the different brands available. I've bought so many things, it's pretty intense... I'm the type of girl who doesn't like having items that break and/or wear out quickly. Sustainability is my priority. I am keen to choose items that my best friend will love and ideally that I also find cute in my environment. That's why I wanted to create a colorful, urban, modern and sustainable brand, which would bring together all my best dog item finds. I was bothered by having to buy ordinary dog accessories from regular pet stores near me. In my opinion, these lacked variety and color.

That being said, Teddy has approved all items sold on this site. They all love them and use them every day. This is why the company is called Chez Teddy , the concept of shopping for your favorites as if you were in your home."
